The Martin Dreadnought has been in regular production since its re-introduction in 1931, as a revival of the pre-1920 Ditson models. First listed as the D-1 and D-2, these models had 12-fret necks like the Ditsons. The D-1 combined a spruce top with mahogany for the back and sides, and the D-2 spruce and rosewood. In 1934, these models were rebuilt with 14-fret necks and became the Martin D-18 and Martin D-28.

This example of the 1965 Gibson Country Western is in good overall and playing condition. It has had its major service – a neck reset – so the neck angle is very good with plenty of saddle for action adjustments.

Built from 1955 to 1959, the Gibson ES-225T was a thinline but fully hollow, single P-90 pickup, florentine cutaway guitar. In 1956, a two pickup version was introduced, the ES-225TD.

Guild began producing instruments in 1952, and at opening its staff included a number of people from Epiphone who naturally brought their influences with them. The Guild X-350 Stratford was heavily influenced by the Epiphone Emperor Zephyr Regent, down to the pushbutton pickup selector.
