Beyond the TrueTone name, this is a Kay K537 model, with an arched top and back body made of laminated Maple, a bolt on Maple neck with bound Rosewood fingerboard and brass frets, floating Rosewood bridge, trapeze tailpiece, and Kluson Deluxe single-line tuners. The original pickguard is intact and included.

The Guild X170, also called the ‘Mini Manhattan’ was built from 1985 until 2002 as a fully hollow electric archtop with laminated Maple body, Maple neck and Rosewood fingerboard. Here we’re looking at a Guild X170 dating to late 1988 and built in Westerly, Rhode Island. It’s in very good clean condition with very little wear of any kind. The clear, natural finish is in great shape and nicely shows off the light figuring of the Maple top, back and sides. The neck uses a five-piece construction with three Maple sections separated by two thin Walnut layers.

The body of the Ibanez AAF207 7-String is Maple laminate, as is the case for many professional grade cutaway archtop electrics. On the top, the laminate has an outward layer of Spruce, while it’s Flamed Maple for the sides and back. The neck is a three piece design, with outside layers of Mahogany on a Maple center section, and an Ebony fingerboard with three-piece Abalone and Mother of Pearl position markers. The traditional wooden bridge is Ebony, for both cap and base.

Here is a Gretsch Chet Atkins Tennessean 6119, dating to December of 1966, before the July 31 1967 sale of Gretsch to the Baldwin Piano Company. Introduced in 1958 and built until 1980, the Tennessean started as full size, hollow body and single-pickup, plainer version of the 6120. For 1961, however, Gretsch made dramatic changes to many models and the 6119 gained the new, sealed ElectroTone body and a pair of new single coil HiLo’Tron pickups.

Here we have a lovely, brand new Gibson 1958 Les Paul VOS NH Reissue in Bourbon Burst. This beautiful instrument strives to be an accurate reproduction of an aged – new old stock and Vintage Original Specification – with oxidized nitrocellulose lacquer finish and nickel hardware. It is not a ‘Relic’ model and has none of the simulated wear or chipping resulting from those processes.

This is the lowest price of the Ibanez George Benson Signature line. George Benson has worked as a jazz guitarist and singer since he was nine, and came to worldwide attention with his 1976 album ‘Breezin’. He’s continued to work, writing, performing and recording.
