❌SOLD❌ Gibson Les Paul R9 'Real Feel' 16 of 25, Burst 2003

This Gibson Les Paul R9 ‘Real Feel’ very rare instrument is in very good condition, with light wear. As these replicate the original, relatively thin nitrocellulose lacquer finishes, there is an amount of natural, expected finish sinking into the pores of the Mahogany back and neck, and light belt buckle or jean-rivet marking in an expected area on the back.

This example dates to 1964, with the square shoulders and three-point pickguard. ❌SOLD❌ Whyte Laydie Style Banjo Unknown Builder, 1980s

The originals of the Whyte Laydie style banjos were made by the Fairbanks company around the turn of the 20th century, with a particular type of tone ring. The Whyte Laydie tone ring is a scalloped brass ring with a steel tone hoop, which provides higher volume, sustain and ‘ringing’ tone. A C Fairbanks was a large musical instrument manufacturer in Boston, but in 1904 suffered a devastating workshop fire, for which they were under insured.

❌SOLD❌ Martin D41 Steel String Dreadnought Guitar 2008

❌SOLD❌ Martin D41 Steel String Dreadnought Guitar 2008

The Martin D41 appeared in 1969 as a midpoint between the standard D-28 and the top of the line D-45 dreadnought models. Here we have a very nice Martin D41 built during 2008 at the Martin plant in Nazareth, Pennsylvania. It has one one small ding in the top but otherwise is in good overall shape. The nitrocellulose lacquer finish is starting to sink, which is to be expected on a guitar now 11 years old.
