Introduced in 2003 and built at the Nashville Tennessee shop, the Gibson Les Paul Supreme is a high-end take on the classic design and features carved, highly figured Maple top and back. The construction of the Gibson Les Paul Supreme differs from the standard Les Paul though it uses the same basic materials as the Les Paul Custom. The carved top and back set are bookmatched, highly flamed Maple, on either side of a chambered Mahogany core

Gibson ES Les Paul Light Burst, 2014

Coming from the now shuttered Memphis plant in 2014, the Gibson ES Les Paul combined classic Les Paul aesthetics with the immensely successful thinline ES concept. Along with the plant, this model has, as such, been discontinued by Gibson’s new management. The new ES-235 is perhaps its replacement in this class. Here we’re looking at a very, clean Gibson ES Les Paul sporting a Light Burst finish. There is very little wear of any type, to the frets, fingerboard, finish or plating.

John Greven Prairie State Doug Jones Special Sunburst, 2002

Here is a rarity! A John Greven Prairie State Model ‘Doug Jones Special’ jumbo steel string from the early 2000’s. This beautiful piece is built with a Spruce top, Flame Maple for the back, sides and neck, and Brazilian Rosewood for the bridge and bound fingerboard. The binding, heel cap, head plate and pickguard are faux tortoise. Tuners are Waverly open gear models with creme plastic buttons.

Ernie Ball Music Man Edward Van Halen Trans Purple, 1993

Available from 1991 to 1995, the Ernie Ball Music Man Edward Van Halen was designed and built to EVH’s requirements for recording and touring. After 1995, the model was renamed the Axis, with the construction remaining the same – a basswood body with a figured Maple top and a Maple neck with 10 inch radius and 22 frets.

Here’s a Gibson Les Paul Standard Cherry Sunburst dating to October 22, 1980, sporting a Cherry Sunburst finish and a non-weight relieved, non-pancake body! The Les Paul model was introduced in 1952 as Gibson’s entry into the then-new solidbody ‘Spanish’ electric guitar field, where ‘Spanish’ refers to the way the guitar is held.

As Guitar of the Week number 16 in 2007, this Gibson Les Paul Classic Custom in Silverburst is one of 400 built. The Classic Custom was offered from 2007 to 2008, and from 2011 to 2012. Merging elements of the Les Paul Classic and Custom models, the Gibson Les Paul Classic Custom starts with a weight-relieved Mahogany body with carved Maple cap paired with a Mahogany neck and Ebony fingerboard.
