Here is a great all original, 1969 Gibson ES-335 TDC.

The full model name means that this is an ES-335 guitar, it’s Thinline, Dual pickups, and Cherry finish.

The ES-335 was introduced in 1958 to bridge the gap between full arch-top instruments, which were definitely developing issues with the the progress in amplification technology, and the full solid-body guitar, which could lack the warmth and resonance of an archtop.

The L-5 CT is based on the L-5 CES but is a ‘thinline’ version, with a side with of 2.25″. It features the same carved, tuned spruce top and carved flame maple back.

Here is a lovely Gibson A-1 Mandolin from 1916. Gibson began producing the A-1 in 1902, featuring the teardrop shape and oval soundhole. This model was produced on and off; the first run ended in 1918 and restarted in 1922, that run went to 1927, then the final run from 1933 to 1943.

Paulino Bernabe 10-String Classical, 1977 (consignment)   SOLD

Here’s something rare and wonderful – a Paulino Bernabe 10-String classical, from 1977. This instrument is in very good condition with only small amounts of wear and a few small dings behind the bridge.

Paulino Bernabe has a shop in Madrid, and is one of Spain’s most respected luthiers. He’s been around guitar making most of his life; his father was a prominent figure in the Ramirez workshop and his family lived above it. At 17, Berbabe began an apprenticeship in the Ramirez shop.
